*Balance is a very important element to incorporate into your workouts.  You need to have good  balance even in every day tasks let alone sports.

*Core exercises are another key component to add to your workouts.  Your core is not only your abdominal muscles but it also includes your back extensors which together encompasses your spine.  Both must be worked to prevent lower back problems.

You are only as strong as your core.

Did you know that 1 pound of fat = 3,500 calories?  In order to lose a pound you must create a deficit in your caloric intake by 500 calories each day for seven days which equates to 3,500 calories, 1 pound of fat.
A safe amount to lose in 1 week is 1-2 pounds which is a deficit of 3,500-7,000 calories in a week, between diet and exercise.
